Home Sweet Home
I finally made it to California! Last night we stopped in Needles California. It is a small town in the middle of the desert where it was 110 degrees in the shade! I tried to go swimming but the pool water was so hot.
Today I arrived at my new house! I had a pretty white and pink surfboard waiting for me when I got to my room! It was the perfect present. Thank you Steve! And to top it off my roomates gave me an autographed poster of Chris Ward (a pro-surfer). It felt like Christmas in July.
I went to Ikea and got some cheap furniture and then spent most of the day assembling it with my dad.
I would like to write more but I have had an extremly long day and am not used to the time difference yet. I will write more tomorrow.
